About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential automation and logistics systems organization seeking a Field Service Technician for their operations in Eisenach, Germany. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automated storage and materials handling systems across national and international project sites.

Our client operates in the industrial automation sector, providing specialized solutions for manufacturing and logistics environments. This position requires 100% travel readiness, with typical assignments lasting two to three weeks at customer facilities worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and installation of automated systems at customer sites nationally and internationally
• Independent execution of commissioning processes for new installations
• Support in positioning steel structures and installing system components
• Perform service and maintenance operations for existing customer installations globally
• Work on diverse, customized projects tailored to individual client requirements
• Travel expectation: assignments typically span two to three weeks with 100% travel readiness required

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar)
• Entry-level candidates or professionals with relevant field service experience welcome
• Strong communication skills in German and English (required)
• French language skills are desirable
• Independent working style with strong team collaboration abilities
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Flexibility for extensive domestic and international travel
