Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential automation and logistics systems provider seeking a Field Service Technician based in Plauen, Germany. This role involves extensive travel with approximately 100% availability required for assignments averaging two to three weeks in duration.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical assembly and installation of automated systems at customer sites nationally and internationally
- Independent execution of commissioning procedures for new installations
- Supporting steel structure positioning and component installation
- Performing service and maintenance work for existing customers worldwide
- Working on varied projects with custom client specifications
What We're Looking For
Our client requires candidates with the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics, electronics)
- Entry-level professionals or those with relevant field experience welcome
- Strong communication skills in German and English (required)
- French language skills are desirable
- Independent working style with team collaboration abilities
- Full willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international)
- Valid Class B driver's license
