Senior Investment Manager Video (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a Senior Investment Manager Video to drive video investment strategy and execution across TV and digital channels. In this role, you will:

• Lead strategic negotiations with media suppliers to secure optimal conditions for client campaigns across TV and video inventory
• Prepare for and conduct annual negotiations with media partners, ensuring competitive rates and favorable terms
• Monitor and track client budgets with precision, analyzing investment performance and ensuring alignment with KPIs
• Manage contract objectives and maintain strong relationships with media partners through regular, strategic communication
• Collaborate closely with planning, consulting, audit, value management, and business teams on procurement strategy and tactical execution
• Produce forecasts and in-depth analyses to guide investment decisions and optimize campaign outcomes

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with proven media agency experience who can hit the ground running:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in relevant roles within media investment, planning, buying, commercial, or planning functions at a media agency
• Market knowledge: Deep understanding of the German TV market; experience with Advanced TV or Digital Video is a plus
• Analytical skills: Strong affinity for numbers and data analysis, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
• Technical proficiency: Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and data manipulation
• Communication: Confident presence with strong negotiation skills to influence internal stakeholders and external media partners
• Work style: High degree of initiative, structured and solution-oriented approach, and strong sense of accountability
• Language: Professional proficiency in German is required for this role
