Senior Manager Media Investment (Mensch) – TV & Advanced TV

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a Senior Manager Media Investment focused on TV & Advanced TV for their Düsseldorf office. In this role, you will be a key player responsible for both day-to-day operations and strategic development of TV and Advanced TV investments.

• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze TV and Advanced TV revenue performance, ensure data quality, and handle daily troubleshooting across traditional and streaming formats.
• Financial Stewardship: Create precise forecasts, track revenue performance, and conduct quarterly reconciliations with media vendors to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Negotiation Leadership: Actively prepare for and lead annual negotiations to secure optimal conditions for client campaigns across traditional TV and streaming platforms.
• Partner Management: Serve as the central interface with TV and CTV/digital vendors, maintaining regular communication and leading important business meetings.
• Contract Compliance: Carefully review framework agreements and ensure proper contractual documentation and adherence to terms.

What We're Looking For

• Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience from a media agency environment, ideally in media investment, commercial operations, or planning. Bachelor's degree required.
• Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of the German TV market is essential, complemented by initial experience in Advanced TV or Digital Video.
• Analytical Strength: Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking, enabling you to evaluate complex data sets and create precise forecasts.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level MS Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Communication Skills: Negotiation-level German and fluent English, with confident presentation abilities to convince both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Working Style: High degree of initiative, structured and solution-oriented approach, and strong sense of responsibility. You are team-oriented, solution-focused, and communicative.
