Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a (Senior) Data Manager for their Düsseldorf office. In this role, you will be at the heart of data-driven decision-making and contribute significantly to developing innovative strategies.

  • Data Management: Apply your strong affinity for numbers and data, along with your thoroughness and structured approach when handling large datasets.
  • Dashboard Maintenance: Maintain the database for a central PowerBI-based Share of Advertising dashboard, ensuring correct preparation and integration of new datasets.
  • Data Harmonization: Harmonize and (re-)standardize datasets and data structures to meet evolving analytical requirements.
  • Analytical Thinking: Independently conduct data and trend analyses using the SOA dashboard, identifying and summarizing core insights.
  • Project Management: Support cross-functional data requests beyond the SOA dashboard, such as briefing and coordinating partner teams to procure data for Marketing Mix Models.
  • Process Optimization & Automation: Analyze and identify processes and process steps for automation, AI support, or other simplification methods, then implement the solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical understanding and enthusiasm for numbers and data, with the ability to transform complex datasets into clear insights.
  • Tool Competency: Confident use of data visualization tools, particularly PowerBI, with ideally some experience working with databases.
  • Project Management: Ability to confidently coordinate complex data requests and manage various stakeholders.
  • Innovation Spirit: "We've always done it this way" is a no-go for you; you proactively bring ideas for process optimization and automation, including through AI.
  • Communication Strength: Ability to clearly and comprehensibly present complex topics, making you a valued team member and partner contact.
  • Structured Work Approach: High accuracy and structured methodology allow you to maintain overview even with large data volumes and ensure high data quality.
  • Language: Fluency in German is required for this position.
