FP&A Financial Analyst – US, Remote (US)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the mass customization sector, seeking an FP&A Financial Analyst to join their Corporate finance team. This remote position offers the opportunity to drive strategic impact through detailed financial analysis, management reporting, and cross-functional partnership. You'll support central functions and enterprise consolidation while serving as a key finance partner for internal services teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary FP&A partner for central corporate functions, delivering monthly management reporting with variance analysis and forward-looking insights
• Drive preparation and consolidation of budget and forecast deliverables to ensure accurate financial planning across the organization
• Conduct detailed vendor-level variance analysis to track operational expenses and identify spending trends
• Manage headcount analytics and partner with business leaders to ensure alignment with approved staffing budgets
• Act as a super user for cloud-based corporate financial consolidation systems, contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives
• Deliver weekly bookings reporting and analysis to executive leadership highlighting business trends and performance tracking
• Produce quarterly financial deliverables for investor relations to support external reporting requirements
• Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial processes, leveraging emerging technologies including AI tools
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and strategic project support as business needs arise

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in corporate FP&A, finance, or a related analytical role
• Highly inquisitive mindset with proven desire for continuous learning and understanding the story behind financial data
• Collaborative approach with ability to work effectively across diverse teams and departments as a true business partner
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for both financial and non-financial audiences
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience building dynamic financial models using advanced functions (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS)
• Proven experience with financial planning software (such as OneStream or Hyperion) and ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle)
• Strong analytical skills and curiosity to explore emerging technologies for process efficiency
