Senior Amazon Retail Media Consultant (d/f/m)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency seeking a Senior Amazon Retail Media Consultant to join their team of 100+ marketplace specialists. This remote role based in Germany offers the opportunity to lead complex, multi-market client portfolios and drive growth across the entire customer journey within the Amazon ecosystem and broader retail media landscape.

Responsibilities

Client Management & Strategy

• Oversee large-scope, multi-market client accounts with annual advertising budgets exceeding €1,000,000
• Develop full-funnel strategies connecting Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, AMC, and other marketplaces/channels, as well as hybrid seller/vendor models
• Lead client calls, quarterly business reviews, and strategic workshops, providing advanced forecasts, budget allocations, and recommendations
• Build customized reporting structures from scratch and use strategic performance analyses to form actionable conclusions
• Participate in pitches from preparation to presentation, identify upsell opportunities, and manage the process through to new contracts

Team Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

• Serve as a go-to technical expert and mentor, leading by example in quality assurance, task briefings, and communication
• Support junior team members with advanced forecasts, business reviews, and strategic guidance
• Drive digital advertising expertise by creating and delivering proactive trainings to the team

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of experience in Amazon, E-Commerce, Online Marketing, or Retail Media (including at least 3 years dedicated to Amazon Advertising)
• Expert-level knowledge of Amazon Sponsored Ads; familiarity with AMC, DSP, ARA, Vendor/Seller Central, hybrid models, programmatic advertising/optimization, and other marketplaces/DSPs
• Expert level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
• Comfortable using AI tools to streamline workflows, create new processes, and continuously improve team operations
• Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative with a track record of driving change, leading side projects, and mentoring peers
• Based in Germany and available to work remotely with occasional office visits (1-2 days depending on location)
• Full working proficiency in German and English
