Senior Performance Marketing Manager (Mensch)

We are representing a confidential media agency in Düsseldorf seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to drive strategic initiatives, lead new business efforts, and shape the future of performance marketing operations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Development: Shape the strategic direction of performance marketing initiatives and develop innovative approaches for client projects and new business opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.
• New Business & Pitches: Coordinate end-to-end pitch processes, develop compelling case studies and presentations, and lead client meetings and presentations at various organizational levels.
• Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a central liaison steering complex projects across teams, ensuring structured and efficient collaboration between consulting, new business, and specialist teams.
• Strategic Advisory & Sparring: Act as a strategic point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, bringing cross-channel perspectives and innovative thinking to projects.
• Process & Methodology Development: Challenge existing processes and develop scalable structures and workflows to continuously improve collaboration quality and efficiency.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Translate complex topics into clear communications, align diverse interests, and maintain composure in dynamic situations.
• Market Intelligence & Innovation: Monitor market trends, emerging developments, and best practices to support the establishment of future-ready solutions and strategies for clients.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Completed degree or comparable qualification in marketing, media, business, communications, or digital media.
• Experience: Several years of experience in performance, digital, or media environments with proven success managing complex projects or client accounts.
• Strategic Thinking: Cross-channel mindset with the ability to quickly identify connections and develop audience-appropriate strategic recommendations.
• Communication Excellence: Confident presence, strong presentation skills, and high empathy when working with clients and teams.
• Organization & Resilience: Ability to maintain overview during dynamic project phases, prioritize effectively, and work in a structured, solution-oriented manner.
• Collaboration Mindset: Enjoy working with diverse teams and personalities, serving as a connecting force within complex projects.
• Analytical Skills: Comfortable with numbers, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making to support strategic approaches.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
