About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential IT services organization seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer Windows to join their technical integration team in Nuremberg, Germany. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-availability Windows environments for enterprise clients, with full remote work options available within Germany.

As part of the service integration division, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and advising on managed Windows solutions in sophisticated IT landscapes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Windows systems professional who thrives on technical challenges and customer collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deploy highly available Windows-based IT systems within complex infrastructure environments
• Design technical concepts and execute customer projects in the managed Windows services space
• Provide expert consultation to clients and internal operations teams on Windows best practices and architectural decisions
• Integrate Windows services and solutions into existing operational frameworks
• Collaborate across technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing system stability

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, professional qualification as IT Specialist for System Integration, or comparable technical education
• Several years of hands-on experience with Windows Servers and applications in complex IT infrastructures
• Deep expertise in Windows base operations, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting
• Proven experience operating Exchange, Citrix, and/or Microsoft SQL environments
• Strong understanding of network and security concepts as they relate to Windows systems
• High quality standards, excellent communication skills, and collaborative team approach
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with strong learning orientation
• German language proficiency required for client interaction
