Test Manager Communication Management (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consultancy based in Berlin that specializes in security-critical software systems. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Test Manager for Communication Management to join their hybrid-working team. This role focuses on safety-critical aviation software projects requiring deep expertise in DO-178C compliance and requirements-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, coordination, and monitoring of all test activities throughout the complete software lifecycle in regulated projects
• Own the creation and continuous maintenance of master test concepts, test plans, test cases, and comprehensive test reports
• Ensure requirements-based testing and maintain complete traceability between requirements, test cases, and results
• Serve as central interface between project management, development teams, and stakeholders including quality assurance and certification teams
• Ensure compliance with change management and configuration management standards

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software test management within safety-critical environments
• In-depth knowledge of DO-178C standard, particularly DAL-D level
• Deep understanding of aviation-specific documentation requirements and structured, quality-oriented working methods
• Proficiency with test and requirements management tools including Jama, Jira, Xray, and Pytest
• Strong technical knowledge of Linux Network Stack, Layer 3 routing protocols, and common security functions and architectures
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Very good written and spoken German required for client communication and project documentation
