About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential automation and logistics systems organization seeking a Service Technician for field operations based in Erfurt. This role offers extensive travel opportunities across Germany and internationally, working with automated storage and material handling installations.

Our talent team is searching for a technically skilled professional who is comfortable with independent travel and on-site client work. You'll spend approximately two to three weeks per assignment, supporting installations and service operations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and installation of automated systems at customer sites nationally and internationally (100% travel readiness required)
• Independent execution of commissioning activities for new installations
• Support with steel structure positioning and component integration
• Conduct service and maintenance operations for existing customer installations globally
• Work on customized client solutions with varied technical requirements

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics, electronics, or similar)
• Entry-level professionals or candidates with relevant field experience welcome
• Strong communication skills in German and English (required)
• French language skills are desirable but not mandatory
• Self-directed working style with strong team collaboration abilities
• Full willingness to travel extensively for multi-week assignments
• Valid Class B driver's license
