Senior Solution Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software client in their search for a Senior Solution Consultant based in the Western United States (remote). This role is central to the presales function, delivering sophisticated product demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations that accelerate the sales cycle and demonstrate clear value to prospects and customers.

As a senior technical expert, you will translate complex customer requirements into validated solution designs, lead high-impact demonstrations for mid- and C-level finance executives, and mentor less experienced team members. You will maintain demo assets, ensure quality standards, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the presales process.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver flawless standard and custom product demonstrations to finance executives and C-suite stakeholders
• Transform complex customer challenges into compelling proof-of-concept presentations that shorten the sales cycle
• Conduct rapid assessments of customer landscapes and identify optimal use cases for prospective clients
• Create and present high-quality demonstrations showcasing advanced product features, benefits, and strategic direction
• Ensure standard demo environments and materials remain current, accurate, and impactful
• Mentor and support less experienced sales consultants and sales development representatives
• Articulate the overall value proposition and align solutions to diverse customer needs
• Build credibility and foster trust with stakeholders through clear, persuasive presentations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of CPM (Corporate Performance Management) industry experience in technical presales, consulting, or related roles
• Technical experience with CPM platforms and related technologies
• Background in Finance/Accounting with familiarity in business analysis and financial modeling
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to lead technical discussions confidently
• Proven ability to assess customer requirements quickly and guide solution evaluation processes
• Understanding of CPM concepts, financial modeling, and business processes in Finance and Accounting
• Knowledge of database management and cloud-based solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with impeccable attention to accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable engaging with C-level executives and senior stakeholders
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and client needs
• Collaborative team player with a results-driven, competitive mindset
• Ability to travel as required for client engagements
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
