Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential grocery technology client in their search for a Senior Software Engineer, Fulfillment. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States.

You'll design, build, and implement software solutions that optimize and scale fulfillment operations for a platform serving millions of users. This role focuses on developing highly scalable systems using innovative engineering principles while ensuring rapid deployment of upgrades and new features.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable software solutions with emphasis on fulfillment operations
• Analyze and optimize expensive SQL queries; execute ongoing testing and performance analysis of current systems
• Determine design solutions to complex programming challenges; analyze and refine architectures
• Propose new systems to improve delivery and operational excellence
• Leverage AI toolsets to accelerate development processes and establish new engineering quality standards
• Perform independent performance analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of existing systems
• Work with large codebases on cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 2 years of experience in software engineering
• OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience
• 2 years of experience working with Java, Ruby, Python, or similar programming languages
• 2 years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems
• 2 years of experience with client/server architectures and application architectures
• 2 years of experience working with large codebases on cross-functional teams
• 2 years of experience employing advanced AI toolsets to accelerate development processes
• 2 years of experience deriving insights from complex data sets

Pay

This role is compensated directly by the client. Pay ranges from $214,000 to $229,000 USD annually, depending on location and experience. The position is also eligible for equity grants.
