Senior Projektsteuerer (m/w/d) – Bauprojekte & Projektmanagement

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential construction management organization in Düsseldorf that needs an experienced project controller to lead demanding building projects. In this role, you will:

• Manage project controls for complex construction projects, with primary responsibility for schedule, cost, and quality management
• Clarify project objectives with stakeholders and coordinate requirements between users and project owners
• Independently manage specific project control functions, including development and monitoring of schedule, organizational, and payment plans
• Coordinate diverse project participants and ensure structured communication and transparent documentation
• Support permit processes and liaise with authorities and relevant contacts
• Review planning team deliverables for quality, contract compliance, and adherence to defined project goals
• Represent project leadership in meetings and maintain active engagement with owners and project partners
• Oversee quality assurance during construction through regular site inspections
• Support updating of planning objectives, resolution of conflicts, and early preparation of necessary decisions
• Contribute to acquisition and development of new projects, bringing your technical expertise to early project phases

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in planning, project controls, or construction project management
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and controlling complex construction projects
• Strong knowledge of planning, construction, and contract law, particularly HOAI, VOB, and BGB
• Proficient with MS Office and MS Project
• Excellent organizational skills with structured and independent working methods
• Strong communication abilities, assertiveness, and negotiation skills when working with different project participants
• Enthusiasm for analyzing complex challenges and developing sustainable solutions collaboratively
• High sense of responsibility with professional and reliable presence
• German language proficiency required for this position
