Key Account Manager- Hobby Retail

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential collectibles organization seeking a Key Account Manager to drive sales growth and profitability across designated accounts in the Mass Market and Hobby Retail channel throughout France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and grow sales performance across designated accounts in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, ensuring delivery against sales, margin, and profitability targets
• Develop account-specific strategies that align with brand and category objectives across key partners and independent retailers
• Lead the onboarding of new distributors and specialty accounts, identifying opportunities that drive incremental growth and brand visibility
• Conduct market analysis to understand category trends, competitor performance, and consumer behavior, informing account planning and channel strategy
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with retailers and distributors, acting as the primary commercial contact for negotiations, promotions, and planning
• Partner with internal teams including Marketing, Brand, Planning, Logistics, and Finance to deliver seamless customer execution and exceptional service
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management
• Implement joint business plans and promotional activations, maximizing retail impact and consumer engagement
• Represent the organization at trade fairs, hobby events, and industry meetings in France and across Europe when required

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Key Account Management or Sales, ideally within Hobby, Toy, Game, or FMCG sectors
• Proven success in managing major French, Belgian, and Netherlands retail accounts and delivering consistent sales growth
• Strong knowledge of the French, Belgian, and Netherlands retail environment, distribution models, and buyer negotiation processes
• Experience with collectibles, trading cards, or hobby channels is highly desirable
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen, with solid understanding of pricing, margins, and forecasting
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken; Dutch is a strong plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing at senior levels
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities autonomously
• Adaptable and resilient, with a hands-on approach and entrepreneurial mindset
• Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
