Senior Product Manager – Outbound Logistics & Returns (m/f/d)

About This Role

We are representing a fast-growing e-commerce company that is scaling its fulfillment operations across multiple warehouses and markets. They need a Senior Product Manager to own and transform the systems that power outbound logistics and returns—making them more automated, scalable, and efficient.

This is a strategic role where you'll shape the product logic behind order-to-delivery flows, warehouse allocation, carrier integrations, and returns processing. You'll work at the intersection of commerce platforms, operational systems, and logistics partners to reduce manual work and optimize cost per parcel.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete order-to-delivery and returns journey, spanning shop systems through ERP/OMS and WMS to carrier integrations and customer tracking updates
• Design and implement product logic for automated warehouse allocation and intelligent order routing across a distributed fulfillment network
• Identify high-impact automation opportunities that reduce manual intervention, improve shipping speed, and lower operational costs
• Drive decisions using data and relevant metrics—define problems clearly, set priorities based on measurable outcomes, and track impact
• Validate significant product opportunities through hypothesis-driven discovery and experimentation before committing engineering resources
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, logistics and operations stakeholders, and external 3PL and carrier partners to build scalable solutions
• Ensure new capabilities support evolving technical architecture and maintain platform stability during ongoing system modernization

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience focused on backend systems, integrations, or operational products
• Hands-on experience with commerce operations platforms including OMS, ERP, WMS, carrier integrations, and API-based partner workflows
• Proven track record of automating operational processes and delivering measurable business improvements
• Strong analytical capabilities with confidence working with KPIs, dashboards, and operational performance data
• Ability to navigate complex technical and business dependencies while collaborating effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with multi-warehouse fulfillment, international shipping, EDI standards, or both D2C and B2B/retail order flows is advantageous
• Fluent English required; German language skills are a plus
• Location: Berlin with hybrid flexibility
