Founding GTM Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing B2B SaaS client in Berlin seeking their first GTM Engineer. You will establish revenue operations as a core discipline and build the infrastructure behind a scalable revenue engine. Pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue per headcount will be your primary metrics.

You'll inherit working infrastructure—including HubSpot, a custom deal-scoring application, and call intelligence tooling—but the foundational layers need to be built: clean data architecture, automated workflows, robust forecasting systems, and AI-driven processes.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with direct access to leadership and full autonomy to shape how revenue operations function. You'll determine priorities, build solutions, and implement systems that directly impact revenue performance.

Day-to-day work includes:

• Establishing trustworthy data foundations: CRM hygiene, field governance, deduplication, and automated enrichment
• Automating revenue processes: lead routing, SLA enforcement, stage criteria, and seamless team handoffs
• Building the pipeline generation stack: ICP scoring, enrichment workflows, and signal-based outbound orchestration
• Integrating AI into daily operations: call intelligence automation, research agents, and health/churn scoring models
• Implementing forecasting and reporting systems that enable weekly leadership decision-making
• Ensuring adoption: instrumenting usage, training teams, and iterating based on feedback

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Hands-on experience architecting a CRM system from the ground up—designing object models, properties, and data structures, not just administering existing configurations
• Production experience with outbound and enrichment platforms (Clay or similar tools)
• Demonstrated experience building with AI/LLMs in production environments: prompt engineering, agent design, or AI-powered workflows
• Strong data analysis skills: ability to diagnose funnel issues, identify data quality problems, and quantify impact before building solutions
• Systems thinking: you approach problems holistically, design for sequencing and dependencies, and can defend your technical decisions under scrutiny

Preferred qualifications:

• Early GTM-Ops or RevOps experience at a startup
• Familiarity with call intelligence tools and sales intelligence platforms
• Understanding of unit economics including CAC, ACV, and payback periods
• Experience with mid-market, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles
