Consultant (Junior) – Data & Analytics (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data consultancy in München seeking a Junior Consultant for their Data & Analytics practice. In this role, you will support clients in developing and implementing data-driven solutions, working closely with senior consultants while gradually taking on more responsibility in project delivery.

• Support clients in developing and implementing Data & Analytics solutions from initial concept through successful deployment
• Analyze data, processes, and business requirements to help develop appropriate technical solutions
• Collaborate with experienced consultants on data platforms, data warehouses, and analytics solutions while continuously building your expertise
• Assist in developing data models, data pipelines, and reports, as well as data preparation and visualization
• Work with artificial intelligence and modern AI solutions, supporting the development and implementation of AI agents and intelligent automation
• Deploy modern technologies and tools including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, Azure, SQL, Snowflake, and Databricks in real client projects
• Participate in requirements gathering and structuring, helping to bridge business and technical questions
• Work within agile project teams (including PRINCE2 methodology), actively contributing to workshops, meetings, and collaborative solution development
• Take ownership of task packages and assume initial responsibilities within projects as you gain experience
• Work closely with clients and colleagues, bringing a hands-on mentality, curiosity, and your own ideas to the table

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field (or nearing completion)
• Interest in IT, data, modern technologies, and artificial intelligence with enthusiasm for connecting business challenges with technical solutions
• Initial practical experience with SQL, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, data engineering, or data analysis is advantageous—your willingness to learn is more important
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, or AI agents is a plus—curiosity and readiness to learn new technologies matters most
• Analytical and structured thinking with enjoyment in working through complex questions and developing solutions
• Team player with initiative and hands-on mentality who enjoys advancing client projects alongside experienced colleagues
• Desire for professional and personal development with willingness to progressively take on project responsibility
• Excellent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Moderate travel willingness for client projects
