Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential investment organization in Berlin seeking an M&A Investment Team intern or working student. In this role, you will:
- Identify and analyze potential acquisition targets, including market, competitive, and benchmark analyses to support management and investor decision-making
- Support preparation and execution of due diligence processes
- Prepare analytical reports, investment committee presentations, and decision documents for management and investors
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout transaction processes
- Collaborate directly with management on strategic questions
- Work on multiple transactions simultaneously with direct exposure to senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field, or nearing completion of a Bachelor's degree with excellent grades
- Initial practical experience in M&A, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or comparable areas
- Self-directed, structured working style with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Fluency in both German and English
- Ability to take ownership of projects and represent analyses to senior stakeholders
