Senior Product Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in Paris seeking a Senior Product Designer to take end-to-end ownership of design across multiple products. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting directly to the Design Director, acting as design peer-lead within the Product team and supporting seven Product Managers and their engineering teams.

You'll help shape the future of complex platform products, creating experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and user-centric. You'll get involved early in the product development process, shaping problems alongside Product and Engineering rather than executing against handed-down requirements, and take ownership of workstreams based on business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the design process end-to-end, leading discovery through delivery for assigned product areas and handing off finalized UX/functional design to external creative partners for UI polish
• Shape decisions upstream by getting involved before requirements are locked, bringing evidence and clear rationale to engineering-first decisions
• Hold multiple complex workstreams and adapt as scope shifts with business priorities across ambiguous problem spaces
• Help establish research and usability practices, translating findings into actionable decisions for Product and Engineering teams
• Reduce design debt by flagging and preventing downstream friction from features shipping without a design pass
• Prototype rapidly using AI tools like Figma Make or Claude to turn concepts into testable prototypes quickly, helping validate direction and unblock decisions
• Foster a strong design culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and improving team processes

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in product/UX design with real ownership of complex products and a strong portfolio of shipped work
• Fluency in Figma or equivalent design/prototyping tools
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving, engineering-heavy environments with limited day-to-day oversight
• Strong interaction and systems thinking with ability to untangle complex flows and design for edge cases
• Experience building or contributing to a research practice where formal resourcing is limited
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Proven experience designing zero-to-one products, new platforms, or defining new product spaces
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (Figma Make, Claude, or similar) to generate prototypes and accelerate concept validation
• Strongly preferred: experience in privacy, compliance, or another highly regulated/technical domain
