Our client is seeking a Senior Perception Software Engineer to join their autonomous systems team. As part of our talent team at Get A Job.ai, we're looking for an experienced software engineer who can design, develop, and productize perception software components for real-time autonomous systems. Responsibilities

• Execute the full software development lifecycle for perception systems
• Write well-designed, testable code in C++ and Python
• Integrate perception software components into complete autonomous systems
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality throughout the development process
• Debug, solve issues, and upgrade existing perception systems
• Deploy state-of-the-art perception deep learning models to embedded platforms
• Analyze and improve system performance using real and synthetic benchmark data
• Maintain alignment with project timelines and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 12+ years of proven experience developing software for embedded platforms in real-time applications
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
• Experience with test-driven development methodologies
• Disciplined, design-based approach to software development
• Proficiency in modern software engineering tools
• Ability to document technical requirements and specifications
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for working in team environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CUDA or SIMD optimization
• Hands-on background deploying deep learning models to embedded platforms for real-time applications
• Experience using simulated or synthetic data to improve machine learning model accuracy
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with integration and testing on real hardware or robotic platforms
