PeopleTools Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology solutions organization seeking an experienced PeopleTools Specialist to join their team on a fully remote basis. This role offers the opportunity to work with enterprise-scale PeopleSoft environments and contribute to critical infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and provide ongoing support for PeopleSoft environments
• Execute PeopleTools upgrades, PUM image applications, and patch management activities
• Administer WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, and application server infrastructure
• Manage Elasticsearch and OpenSearch implementations for PeopleSoft
• Perform system refreshes, clones, migrations, and high availability/disaster recovery operations
• Develop automation solutions using Shell, Python, or Ansible
• Monitor system performance, diagnose technical issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and support production environments

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 6+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience
• Demonstrated experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PUM processes
• Strong technical knowledge of WebLogic, Tuxedo, Oracle Database, and Linux/Unix operating systems
• Experience implementing and managing Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and PeopleSoft Cloud Manager
• Excellent scripting capabilities and troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• PeopleSoft technical certifications
• Cloud platform experience (OCI, AWS, or Azure)
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and PeopleSoft Selective Adoption

Work Arrangement: 100% remote within the United States

Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire
