Sr Project Manager – Healthcare Construction

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare construction client seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. This is a remote role based in California with travel up to 30%. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is managing this search on behalf of our client, who is looking for an experienced professional to lead multiple healthcare construction projects from initiation through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of healthcare construction projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout
• Work directly with stakeholders to prepare project scope, resource requirements, cost estimates and budgets, work plans, schedules, quality control protocols, and risk identification
• Define and select project delivery resources through qualification processes, conduct complex RFPs, complete bid evaluations, and make recommendations
• Facilitate the development of project charters and integrated timelines
• Ensure all project functions remain on schedule and resolve or escalate issues as needed
• Lead regular meetings to review status for active and pending projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and guide implementation through completion
• Apply advanced knowledge to develop improved methods for achieving objectives
• Coach and mentor team members to develop expertise across all functional areas
• Communicate complex ideas effectively and influence senior-level stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant healthcare construction project management experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Expert organizational skills with advanced problem-solving abilities
• Innovative mindset to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions
• Ability to solve unique problems with both standard and innovative approaches
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
• Must be located in California and able to travel up to 30%
