Senior Solutions Engineer – Platform & Analytics

We are representing a fast-growing Series A technology company in the connectivity and network orchestration space. Our client is building AI-powered solutions that enable reliable data movement across satellite, terrestrial, and hybrid networks for industries operating in challenging environments. They serve global leaders in aviation, maritime, energy, and transportation.

As the Senior Solutions Engineer - Platform & Analytics, you will serve as the technical bridge between customers and internal engineering teams. You'll architect solutions, lead proof-of-concept implementations, and ensure customers extract maximum value from next-generation connectivity platforms. This role demands both deep technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to navigate complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored connectivity solutions
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine optimal technical approaches for new customer deployments
• Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of systems across aviation, maritime, energy, and other vertical markets
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues during POC phases and collaborate with QA and engineering to deploy fixes
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and services
• Act as technical advisor to customers, providing guidance on best practices and optimal system usage
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for both customer teams and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate across sales, product management, systems engineering, QA, and service delivery to ensure successful project execution
• Manage clean handovers from proof-of-concept to production service delivery and ongoing support
• Stay current on advancements in satellite and network orchestration technologies

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related technical field
• 5-7+ years of customer-facing solutions engineering experience, with demonstrated ability to own technical discovery, scoping, and the complete POC lifecycle
• 5-7+ years implementing networking solutions with strong Linux command-line proficiency and scripting capabilities in Python or Bash
• 5-7+ years working with REST APIs and JSON for system integration
• 5-7+ years sizing, testing, and validating server hardware, plus hands-on experience with hypervisors (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM)
• 5-7+ years with front-end development for building dashboards using JavaScript frameworks or tools like Grafana
• Working knowledge of data engineering and analytics—building pipelines, SQL proficiency, and transforming network telemetry into actionable insights
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to juggle competing priorities in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in network telemetry and observability across SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX, syslog, SQL, and dashboarding platforms such as Grafana
• Domain experience in aviation, maritime, cruise, hospitality, or offshore energy industries
