We are representing a confidential IT solutions organization seeking a Project Billing and Financial Operations Analyst to join their team. Our client operates in the technology distribution and services sector, supporting enterprise customers with comprehensive IT solutions. Responsibilities

In this role, you will support service-related projects through accurate project setup, customer invoicing, expense monitoring, and financial operations support. You will ensure service projects run smoothly from a financial perspective and help maintain strong internal controls.

• Set up and maintain service projects in the ERP system, ensuring project structures, customer information, billing terms, and coding are accurate and complete
• Review invoice support documentation, validate billing details against contract terms, and prepare accurate invoices for timely customer submission
• Monitor expenses charged to service projects to ensure costs are properly coded, supported, and aligned with project budgets and contract requirements
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, expense questions, and project setup issues in partnership with project managers, operations teams, and finance
• Maintain organized billing and project records, including invoice support and project setup documentation, to support audit readiness and reporting needs
• Assist with process improvements that strengthen billing accuracy, reduce delays, and improve efficiency of project billing and expense management activities
• Support departmental processes in compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls where applicable

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• An associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• A few years of experience in project billing, invoicing, project accounting, finance operations, or similar role
• Familiarity with ERP systems, expense management processes, customer billing, or project-based financial workflows
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, with the ability to work accurately with data, spreadsheets, and reports
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to document activity, manage priorities, monitor deadlines, and follow through on details
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability with a commitment to accuracy and complete documentation
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Adaptability and comfort shifting priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with project-based billing, customer contracts, invoice support documentation, or project expense tracking
• Exposure to process improvement, requirements gathering, or updating operational procedures

Pay

The client has indicated a compensation range of $25.72 to $32.60 per hour for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, and the client's internal equity considerations.
