Senior Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace organization seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team in Parsdorf, Bavaria. In this role, you will manage quality control activities throughout the assembly, integration, and testing cycles of complex vehicle sub-assemblies. You will plan and execute quality control activities, evaluate nonconformities, and specify corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular quality checks and site inspections to ensure technical standards are consistently met
• Overseeing production and engineering processes by ensuring proper use of tools, materials, and procedures while determining quality metrics
• Understanding test requirements and proposing solutions to resolve technical issues
• Creating comprehensive quality and safety documentation
• Planning and organizing regular product inspections and managing internal audits
• Preparing quality control plans in accordance with organizational standards and reviewing documentation
• Collaborating with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by continuously improving product quality

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a seasoned quality professional with the following qualifications:

• University degree in engineering, management, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in highly regulated production environments (aerospace, defense, or automotive), with at least 3 years specifically in quality or testing roles
• Strong knowledge of AS 9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standards; Internal Auditor certification required
• Experience with statistical quality control methods in manufacturing environments
• Proficiency with cause-effect analysis and problem-solving methodologies including 5 Why Analysis, 8D Reports, and Fishbone/Ishikawa Diagrams
• Fluent English required; German language skills are advantageous
• Prior knowledge of CFRP manufacturing and testing is a plus
• Familiarity with APQP and ISO 9145 is beneficial
