About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Berlin that is seeking a Division Director to lead their services business unit. Our client operates a cloud-native platform that transforms how enterprises manage documents and workflows through intelligent automation. This is a strategic leadership role with full P&L responsibility for a growing division of approximately 20 professionals.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue, budget, and profitability targets for the services division while managing operational controlling and reporting
• Provide leadership and professional development for Business Unit Heads and Sales/Business Development teams
• Drive strategic planning and business development, analyzing market trends and identifying new growth opportunities in document management and workflow automation
• Evolve organizational structures, processes, and service offerings to strengthen market position and unlock new business areas
• Collaborate with partner channels to identify and develop innovative services around document management, workflow solutions, and digital business processes
• Represent the division externally, cultivating relationships with customers, partners, and prospects while expanding the client base
• Attend industry events and leverage networks to gather market intelligence and create new business opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and project teams to continuously enhance the service portfolio

What We're Looking For

• Several years of leadership experience with responsibility for teams, business units, or strategic divisions
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with proven experience in financial management and organizational development
• Demonstrable success in business development, market expansion, or launching new service offerings
• Sales affinity with passion for building customer relationships and unlocking business potential
• Background in document management, enterprise content management, workflow solutions, SaaS, or cloud platforms
• Interest in emerging technologies including process automation, AI-powered document processing, secure cloud architectures, and digital collaboration
• Track record developing, motivating, and growing talent with genuine passion for people development
• Strong instinct for market trends, customer needs, and sustainable business strategy development
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with confident presence at all organizational levels
• High willingness to travel and enthusiasm for networking and active market engagement
• Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) plus good English proficiency
