Account Executive – Mittelstand (Remote in Germany)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking an Account Executive - Mittelstand to join their team remotely in Germany. This is a full-cycle sales role focused on bringing enterprise safety and critical communications solutions to mid-market organizations across Germany.

As part of our client's German sales team, you will own the complete sales process from initial prospecting through contract closure. This hunter role centers on identifying new business opportunities within the Mittelstand segment and building lasting customer relationships through consultative selling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and qualification of new opportunities within the German Mittelstand market
• Develop deep domain knowledge of target buyers, competitive landscape, and solution positioning
• Identify and engage multiple stakeholders within prospect organizations to advance complex sales cycles
• Execute consultative, solution-based sales methodology to map customer challenges to platform capabilities
• Collaborate with marketing, business development, and sales teams to execute targeted campaigns
• Exceed quarterly bookings quotas and annual sales objectives
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity management in Salesforce

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience selling SaaS or hosted software solutions to Mittelstand accounts in Germany
• Background selling GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), resilience, or cybersecurity solutions strongly preferred
• Demonstrated consultative/solution sales training and application
• Strong blueprinting, consulting, and solution mapping capabilities
• Verified track record as a "hunter" with measurable success meeting or exceeding quotas
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Sandler, SPIN Selling, or Solution Selling) a plus
• Ability to work remotely with excellent self-management and communication skills
• Fluency in German required; English proficiency preferred
