Trainer / Subject Matter Expert – Digital Business Fundamentals (m/w/d) – 100% remote

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential education organization seeking a Trainer and Subject Matter Expert for their Digital Business Fundamentals program. This is a permanent, remote position at 32 hours per week, working with learners across Germany.

You will deliver live online instruction in the mornings and support participants during their individual learning phases in the afternoons. Your teaching will cover foundational digital business competencies including modern collaboration tools, project management, data literacy, Excel and Google Sheets, AI, automation, and APIs.

A key part of your role involves guiding diverse learning groups with varying professional backgrounds, language skills, and digital knowledge levels. You'll create an inclusive learning environment where both beginners and participants with existing digital experience are appropriately challenged and supported.

As the Subject Matter Expert for this curriculum, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and continuously developing teaching materials, exercises, projects, and learning formats. You'll ensure the course structure remains practical, accessible, and current. Close collaboration with the pedagogical team and specialists from advanced modules is essential.

This role goes beyond content delivery—you own the academic quality and ongoing development of the entire module.

What We're Looking For

• Substantial practical experience across multiple digital business domains such as digital collaboration and project management, data analysis, Excel/Google Sheets, AI and automation, or digital business processes
• Completed degree, vocational training, or comparable professional qualification—practical expertise and the ability to convey it effectively matter most
• Teaching, training, or facilitation experience, ideally in adult education and remote contexts
• Strong didactic skills with the ability to explain complex digital topics in clear, accessible language
• Enthusiasm for working with heterogeneous groups and managing different learning levels and paces simultaneously
• Excellent communication abilities along with a patient, respectful approach to working with people
• Fluent German and English language skills
