About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hospitality technology consultancy seeking an Onboarding Manager and System Expert for their Hamburg office. Our client specializes in digitalization solutions for the restaurant and hospitality sector, implementing point-of-sale systems, digital ordering platforms, and payment technologies.

In this role, you'll work directly with hospitality businesses throughout Hamburg and surrounding regions, guiding them through digital transformation. You'll gain exposure to leading industry systems, choose your area of specialization, and grow into client management and project development responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with IT knowledge who enjoys hands-on technical work and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and setup of digital hospitality systems including point-of-sale, ordering platforms, and reservation tools for restaurant clients
• Provide direct technical support to customers experiencing system issues or configuration questions
• Conduct training sessions for restaurant staff on newly implemented technologies
• Create user-friendly documentation, guides, and FAQ materials in German
• Collect client feedback to inform service improvements and system optimization
• Travel to client locations throughout the Hamburg region for on-site implementation and support

What We're Looking For

• Educational background in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Business Informatics, or related field from a university or technical college (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong interest in digital solutions and practical technology applications
• Experience with CSV data handling; basic networking and programming knowledge advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Solution-oriented mindset with independent, structured, and proactive working style
• Willingness to travel locally within Hamburg metropolitan area (driver's license helpful but not required)
• Very strong German language proficiency in written and spoken communication (minimum C2 level)
