Senior National Account Manager Grocery

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring your presence in London. You'll serve as the primary commercial link between Galderma and our national grocery retailers, owning the complete account lifecycle from strategy through execution. This role combines commercial acumen with relationship stewardship, demanding both negotiation skill and strategic thinking to unlock growth within the competitive grocery channel.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute tailored account strategies for major grocery chains, identifying category growth levers and promotional opportunities
• Lead contract negotiations, commercial terms discussions, and ongoing commercial governance with retail buyers and account teams
• Build and manage quarterly business reviews, presenting performance analytics, market insights, and growth initiatives to senior retail leadership
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics, supply chain, and finance functions to align retail requirements with operational delivery
• Monitor account KPIs, sales forecasts, and market share, identifying risks and opportunities to maximise revenue and margin
• Cultivate long-term strategic partnerships, acting as Galderma's trusted adviser on evolving consumer trends and retail priorities
• Represent Galderma at retail industry forums and collaborate with cross-regional teams on national and regional initiatives

What You Bring

• 7+ years in account management, sales, or commercial roles within retail, FMCG, health and beauty, or pharmaceutical distribution
• Proven experience managing national or multi-site grocery, pharmacy, or retail accounts with significant revenue impact
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with demonstrated success influencing senior retail stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and financial forecasting
• Knowledge of UK grocery retail dynamics, retail buying processes, and category management principles
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
