Senior Manager*in Female Player Care

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential sports organization seeking a Senior Manager for Female Player Care. This part-time role (50%) will serve as a trusted point of contact for personal and non-sporting matters for national team players, with a focus on women's senior and youth teams.

You will develop and implement initiatives around female-specific health topics and key career and life phases, working closely with internal and external specialists and clubs. This includes mental health education, prevention measures, and connecting players with established support structures.

A core part of the role involves creating educational, mentoring, and advisory programs for players during and after their active careers, particularly around dual career paths, continuing education, and career transitions. You will build and expand networks with current and former players, clubs, educational institutions, and relevant partners.

You will integrate the player perspective into the ongoing development of player care programs and support appropriate network, communication, media, and sponsorship initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Completed playing career at a high level, preferably at senior or youth national team level
• Outstanding network within national teams and elite-level women's football
• University degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• Proactive, communicative, and solution-oriented working style
• Enjoyment of daily collaboration within an interdisciplinary team with diverse competencies spanning practical football and scientific disciplines
• Experience in a professional sports federation, club, sports institution, company, or performance center
• Passion for football and broad knowledge of current topics in elite-level football
• Enthusiasm for short- and long-term projects in a dynamic environment
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
