AI Forward Deployed Engineer – France

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential data and AI platform organization seeking an AI Forward Deployed Engineer based in Paris, France. This is a highly specialized customer-facing role where you'll build and productionize cutting-edge GenAI applications for enterprise clients. You'll work at the intersection of advanced AI research and real-world business impact, serving as a trusted technical advisor while shaping product direction through cross-functional collaboration.

This position is remote within France only, with travel approximately once every 4-8 weeks as needed to meet with clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade GenAI solutions incorporating the latest techniques in large language models, multi-agent systems, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Text2SQL, and fine-tuning
• Own end-to-end deployment of consumer-facing and internal GenAI applications, including evaluation frameworks and optimization strategies
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers across diverse industry domains
• Present technical concepts at industry conferences and establish thought leadership both internally and externally
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence strategic priorities and product roadmap decisions
• Support subject matter expert teams and contribute to the broader AI community within the organization

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience building GenAI applications using tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy
• Proven expertise deploying production-grade GenAI systems with comprehensive evaluation and optimization methodologies
• Extensive hands-on industry experience in data science, leveraging pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and similar frameworks
• Experience building production machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Passion for collaboration, continuous learning, and driving business value through AI solutions
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark) is preferred
• Willingness to travel once every 4-8 weeks to client sites as needed
• French language proficiency and authorization to work in France required
