About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in the wealth technology sector that is experiencing significant international growth. Following a successful expansion into the Swiss market, our client is preparing to enter the UK, and we need an experienced legal professional to help build and scale their legal function during this exciting phase.
This is a hands-on role based in Munich where you'll serve as a pragmatic business partner across the organization, establishing scalable processes while supporting day-to-day commercial and corporate legal needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance across commercial and corporate matters for an international software company
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including SaaS agreements, software licenses, customer contracts, and partnership agreements
- Support international expansion efforts, with particular focus on UK market entry
- Build and refine legal processes, contract templates, and governance frameworks that can scale with growth
- Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, and Management teams as a trusted legal advisor
- Coordinate with external legal counsel when specialized expertise is required
- Support data protection, compliance, and corporate housekeeping activities
- Champion the adoption of Legal Tech and AI-powered tools to enhance legal operations
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally from an international company or leading commercial law firm
- Strong commercial law background with extensive experience negotiating technology, software, or SaaS agreements
- Solid understanding of UK law and Common Law systems
- Proven track record building legal processes in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Pragmatic, business-oriented approach with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Genuine interest in Legal Tech, contract automation, and AI-enabled legal workflows
- Business fluent in both German and English
- Experience in international scale-up environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with GDPR and compliance frameworks (preferred)
- Experience with CLM tools such as Ironclad, Juro, or DocuSign CLM (preferred)
