Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential media technology organization seeking a working student in Information Security at their Hamburg location. In this role, you will:
- Support the creation and maintenance of security policies and concepts
- Assist in evaluating risks associated with new tools and AI solutions from an information security perspective, documenting your findings clearly
- Analyze and document security requirements and processes, supporting the derivation and tracking of security measures
- Contribute to awareness initiatives including training sessions, phishing simulations, emergency drills, and newsletters
- Research current security and compliance topics and prepare findings for the team
- Create presentations, evaluations, and documentation
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT/Cyber Security, Information Management, or a comparable field (proof of enrollment required)
- Basic understanding and/or initial practical experience in IT, IT/Cyber Security, or IT compliance is preferred
- Familiarity with information security standards such as ISO 27001 or BSI-Grundschutz is a plus but not required
- Strong MS Office skills
- Structured, careful, and reliable working style
- Ability to present results clearly and understandably, with confidence to contribute your opinions
- Excellent German language skills required
- Available up to 20 hours per week starting November 1, 2026
