Senior IT Technical Support Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential mobility technology company seeking a Senior IT Technical Support Specialist to join their London office. In this role, you will:

• Provide expert Level 1 and Level 2 technical support both on-site and remotely, utilizing diagnostic techniques to resolve complex issues across SaaS applications, operating systems, and hardware
• Design and implement automation workflows using JIRA scripting and low-code platforms such as Workato, Zapier, or Okta Workflows to advance infrastructure-as-code initiatives
• Optimize self-service tools and manage identity and access lifecycles across multiple platforms to streamline IT operations
• Support and troubleshoot network connectivity including WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, and routing configurations
• Maintain on-site server assets and ensure seamless daily infrastructure operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR and IT Solutions to enhance onboarding processes and workflow automation
• Identify process bottlenecks, optimize SaaS tool usage, and oversee hardware inventory lifecycles from acquisition through provisioning
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Experience and Background:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in an IT Service Desk role within a SaaS or fast-paced startup environment
• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration, Specialized Diploma, or comparable qualification
• Strong systematic problem-solving ability for diagnosing complex technical issues

Technical Skills:

• Experience with JIRA and Confluence for ticket tracking and process improvement
• Proficiency with Identity Providers such as Okta, Azure AD, OneLogin, and Active Directory
• Strong experience managing and troubleshooting Google Workspace and core SaaS platforms
• Experience with MDM solutions for managing macOS, Windows, and iOS devices
• Working knowledge of network architecture and troubleshooting (WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, routing)
• Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or low-code/no-code platforms (Workato, Zapier, Okta Workflows)
• Ability to write clear technical documentation
