About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential blockchain organization seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their distributed operations team. This is a full-remote position available to candidates in the United States who can accommodate 4-5 hours of daily overlap with Australia/New Zealand business hours.
Our client's Ops team provides expert operational support to development teams, focusing on designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining production infrastructure, tooling, and pipelines in a blockchain environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, improve, and maintain secure, reliable production systems
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product goals and create infrastructure alignment
- Provide product infrastructure expertise to external site reliability engineers from open-source and partner organizations
- Contribute to intellectual property development through infrastructure innovation
- Support and maintain cloud-based blockchain infrastructure with guidance from engineering leadership
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience designing, building, deploying, and maintaining secure, reliable production systems
- Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
- Proficiency in Bash and at least one programming language: Go, Ruby, Rust, C++, Python, or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Experience configuring and running CI platforms such as CircleCI or Travis
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience implementing and managing monitoring systems
- Strong background in Linux/Unix system administration and automation
- Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps frameworks
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture concepts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to work 4-5 hours daily during Australia/New Zealand business hours
