Senior HR Specialist – Recruiting & Onboarding (m/f/d) in Berlin or Konstanz

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software company seeking a Senior HR Specialist to lead recruiting and onboarding initiatives in Berlin. Our talent team is partnering with this organization to find an experienced recruitment professional who can drive end-to-end hiring processes, optimize candidate pipelines using modern HR technology, and deliver exceptional onboarding experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to assess talent needs and execute the complete recruitment lifecycle
• Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and lead behavioral assessments to evaluate technical capabilities and cultural fit
• Coordinate interview scheduling while building strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners
• Drive diverse and inclusive recruitment strategies, supporting recruitment marketing and job promotion across relevant channels
• Maintain accurate ATS records, analyze candidate funnels, and prepare hiring reports to inform recruitment decisions
• Manage operational pre-boarding and onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration for new hires
• Test, evaluate, and implement AI tools to streamline sourcing, screening, and HR workflows

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience sourcing and hiring across both US and German tech/software markets, with understanding of cultural and operational differences in both regions
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms (such as Personio or Ashby) and strong digital proficiency
• Clear communication and active listening skills with a customer-centric approach to candidate and hiring manager experience
• Strong collaborative mindset with agile, pragmatic approach and excellent organizational abilities
• Interest in or active experience using AI tools to optimize sourcing, candidate engagement, and onboarding processes
• High standards of confidentiality and data integrity
• Fluency in both German and English required
