Senior Fullstack Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS client that operates a leading volunteer engagement platform used across 26 countries. They power large-scale programs for nonprofits, sporting organizations, and major events worldwide. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their growing engineering organization in the Philippines.

This role reports to a Technical Lead and focuses on delivering high-quality features across a modern cloud-native stack. You'll contribute to platform architecture, influence engineering practices, and help transition the system toward event-driven and domain-driven development patterns. This is an opportunity to work on software that supports millions of users globally while maintaining compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable features using Laravel, PHP, React/Next.js, and AWS infrastructure
• Collaborate with QA, Product, and Design teams to ship user-focused features
• Build and evolve APIs, integrations, and reusable components for a multi-region platform
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and system performance
• Lead through code quality, documentation, and peer mentorship
• Contribute to architectural improvements and technical discovery for new features
• Ensure accessibility and localization across global user base
• Maintain compliance-minded engineering practices in regulated environments
• Own test strategy, coverage, and regression control with a shift-left QA approach

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 4+ years building SaaS products end-to-end, ideally in multi-region environments
• Full-stack capability from frontend to backend development
• Strong proficiency with Laravel (or modern PHP frameworks) and React, Next.js, or Vue
• Experience with XDebug and writing unit tests
• Mobile development experience with React Native
• Background working in ISO/SOC2 compliant environments
• Understanding of accessibility, scalability, and localization for global users
• Cloud-native experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
• Experience designing within modular monolith architectures
• Strong skills with relational databases (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL) including data modeling for scale

• AI-driven development tools (Copilot, Gemini, test automation)
• Building AI-augmented product features (LLM API usage, prompt design)
• Coaching others on integrating GenAI into workflows
