(Senior) Digital Strategist (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to lead creative strategy across paid social channels. You will develop creative strategies for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube advertising campaigns in German-speaking markets, crafting hooks, angles, and concepts rooted in consumer psychology.

Your day-to-day will include analyzing trends, competitors, and viral advertising formats, then translating those insights into data-driven hypotheses that improve creative performance. You'll create and refine creative briefs for UGC creators, videographers, and editors—all in German—and manage the entire creative process from concept through final asset delivery.

You will build and optimize workflows connecting performance marketing, brand, UGC, and production teams. Key performance indicators such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS will guide your analysis and inform concrete optimization measures. You'll prioritize and manage creative testing independently, working closely with performance marketing, video, brand, and design colleagues to identify new ad formats, platform trends, and scaling opportunities while ensuring rapid, high-quality creative delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as a Creative Strategist, Creative Manager, or similar role within performance marketing
• Strong understanding of consumer psychology and purchase decision-making
• Exceptional instinct for creative advertising concepts and viral social-media content
• Deep familiarity with current trends on TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube
• Proven track record optimizing performance creatives using data
• Strategic thinking combined with the ability to manage creative processes and cross-functional touchpoints efficiently
• High degree of ownership and hands-on mentality
• Confident working with creative KPIs and performance data
• Structured, solution-oriented, and fast-paced working style
• High quality standards and a drive to continuously improve creative output
• Fluent written and spoken German is required
