Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent – 1099 Contractor (Virtual) – Missouri

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential telehealth organization seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their virtual provider network. This is a 1099 contractor role based in Missouri, offering the flexibility to set your own schedule with no minimum hours requirement.

You'll provide evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults through a modern virtual platform. The role focuses on what you do best—patient care—while minimizing administrative burdens through streamlined billing and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via 60-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-up sessions
• Formulate accurate diagnoses and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each developmental stage
• Provide medication management for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders
• Deliver virtual psychiatric sessions ensuring high-quality, culturally-responsive care experiences
• Collaborate with families to educate them on mental health issues and involve them in care planning
• Participate in team meetings and provide consultative support for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including JCAHO guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
• Active medical license in Missouri (or ability to obtain)
• Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults
• Proficiency with computer and live video tools (Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
• Commitment to and familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework
• Experience providing telehealth services in a virtual environment preferred but not required
• Passion for whole-person, whole-family mental health care and culturally-responsive treatment approaches
