Full Stack Developer (AI-First)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential eCommerce technology firm that is building AI-native systems to transform how businesses operate. Our client is developing intelligent automation, data platforms, and AI-powered products that drive measurable business impact. We're seeking a Full Stack Developer who is passionate about building at the intersection of modern web development and artificial intelligence.

This is a remote position based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, working in Central Standard Time zone collaboration hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern, scalable full-stack applications covering frontend, backend, databases, and cloud infrastructure
• Build responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Design and implement backend systems with Node.js and Python, including APIs and scalable architecture
• Integrate AI capabilities into business workflows and product features
• Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development, debugging, and refactoring
• Prototype new product ideas rapidly and refine promising concepts into production systems
• Build automation tools and agent-based systems to eliminate manual processes
• Create AI-powered utilities and intelligent interfaces for internal and external users
• Collaborate with leadership to identify high-leverage opportunities for AI and software solutions
• Experiment with emerging AI models, tools, and frameworks

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer with modern web technologies
• Proficiency with frontend frameworks including React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Strong backend development skills using Node.js and Python
• Experience designing APIs, databases, and scalable system architecture
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and their application to software development
• Genuine passion for AI technology and emerging development tools
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and solve complex problems with minimal direction
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Self-starter mindset with focus on building scalable, high-performance software

Preferred experience:

• Experience with AI platforms and language models from major providers
• Knowledge of agent frameworks, RAG systems, vector databases, or tool-calling architectures
• Background building internal platforms, analytics systems, or automation tools
• Startup or high-growth agency experience
• Track record of shipping software quickly while maintaining engineering standards
