Senior eCommerce Manager (m/w/d)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential clean energy technology organization in München. We're seeking a Senior eCommerce Manager to lead strategic development of their B2B digital commerce platform serving professional installers and trade partners across renewable energy sectors.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic oversight with execution—you'll drive platform optimization, marketplace expansion, and partner network growth while working closely with product, sales, IT, and logistics teams in a fast-growing international environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational development of the B2B online platform, including UX optimization, shop system functionality, payment integration, and system interfaces
• Build and manage a sustainable network of installation partners to support the commercial distribution model
• Execute and analyze onpage sales promotions and marketing campaigns (affiliate, email marketing) with focus on revenue, effectiveness, and profitability maximization
• Monitor and optimize key performance indicators including revenue, conversion rate, average order value, and returns, deriving data-driven improvements
• Own end-to-end product portfolio listing, management, and optimization across marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with product management, key account sales, IT, and logistics teams
• Track market and competitive developments, identifying emerging trends and opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in eCommerce, ideally in B2B environments
• Strong knowledge of common ERP, CMS, and shop systems (e.g., Shopify, Shopware, Magento) plus marketplace platforms
• Affinity for technology products in clean energy, electrification, or related renewable sectors
• Experience with KPI analysis and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Confident handling of online marketing channels and tools including SEO, affiliate marketing, and SEA
• Solid experience working with AI tools and LLMs
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on mentality
• Independent working style with excellent communication skills
• Very good written and spoken English and German
