Senior Brand Lead DACH (Consumer Health), Maternity Leave Cover

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consumer healthcare organization seeking a Senior Brand Lead to oversee their DACH region portfolio during a maternity leave cover period. In this strategic role, you will:

• Drive sustainable growth by achieving sales, profit, and market share targets across the consumer healthcare portfolio in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
• Own the local brand P&L, ensuring efficient resource allocation and identifying opportunities to improve profitability
• Lead commercial strategy and execution across the DACH region, managing relationships with distributors, customers, and third-party partners including contract negotiations
• Develop and implement route-to-market, trade, and channel strategies to ensure optimal market coverage
• Drive e-commerce and digital growth initiatives aligned with global digital strategy
• Adapt and implement global brand strategies to meet local market needs, leading the development and execution of local brand and marketing plans
• Deliver impactful marketing campaigns from concept to execution, collaborating with media agencies to maximize brand visibility across all channels with strong digital focus
• Monitor campaign effectiveness and optimize activities based on KPIs and market insights
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Digital, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and operational teams
• Equip sales teams and external partners with tools, insights, and support to achieve business objectives

What We're Looking For

Our client needs an experienced marketing and commercial leader with:

• Significant experience in brand marketing and/or commercial leadership roles within Consumer Healthcare and/or FMCG industry
• Proven track record of delivering profitable growth, building brands, and managing commercial performance
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, external partners, and multiple stakeholders
• Strong P&L management experience with ability to translate strategy into measurable business results
• Strategic mindset with strong commercial vision and financial acumen
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Strong communication and influencing skills with ability to inspire and engage others
• Highly analytical, results-driven, and customer-focused approach
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive, hands-on approach
• Ability to work independently while successfully leading cross-functional collaboration
• Adaptable and resilient, comfortable operating in fast-paced environments
• Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics
