Our talent team is representing a leading creative communications agency in Hamburg. This confidential client works with major national and international brands across B2C and B2B sectors, delivering strategic social media campaigns and digital-first creative solutions.

We are seeking a (Senior) Social Media Manager to join their Hamburg office and lead social media strategy for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media, communication and campaign strategies for national and international clients
• Plan, coordinate and steer social media projects and campaigns across all relevant platforms and channels
• Derive insights and translate them into strategic and creative social media recommendations
• Create social-first communication ideas, content approaches and strategic platform concepts
• Consult clients on social media trends, platform developments, creator culture and digital communication opportunities
• Moderate workshops, briefing sessions and collaborative working formats with clients and internal teams
• Monitor timelines, workflows and project priorities to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery
• Support pitches and develop strategic and creative foundations for new business projects
• Monitor societal, technological and cultural developments to identify new opportunities for brands and communities

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital culture and online communities
• Familiarity with platform mechanics, trends and audience behavior across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant channels
• Strong sense for storytelling, tone of voice and platform-native communication
• Ability to develop and evaluate social content concepts in terms of relevance, quality and feasibility
• Confident using social media management, analytics and publishing tools
• Understanding of the interaction between organic social, paid social and creator-driven communication
• Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style with ability to maintain overview in fast-paced environments
• Fluent in German and English
