Senior Social Media Manager (d/f/m)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential creative agency seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to take strategic and commercial ownership of complex social media accounts and campaigns. In this role, you will:

• Develop cross-platform and social-first strategies aligned with business objectives, target audiences, and customer journeys
• Lead campaigns, productions, and workflows from initial concept through to final execution
• Manage budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics, including regular reporting and strategic recommendations
• Advise clients at a senior level and present strategies and recommendations to key stakeholders
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities through emerging platforms, technologies, trends, and creative approaches
• Challenge briefs and serve as a trusted strategic partner for clients and interdisciplinary teams

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with:

• Several years of experience in social media management, ideally within an agency or creative environment
• Proven track record managing complex accounts with responsibility for performance outcomes, budget oversight, and quality delivery
• Excellent strategic, conceptual, and analytical capabilities
• Deep understanding of social culture, platform mechanics, and creative possibilities across channels
• Strong commercial awareness and confident budget management skills
• Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and client advisory abilities in both German and English
• Ability to set direction, drive quality standards, and identify growth opportunities
