Senior Art Director (d/f/m)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential creative agency in Stuttgart seeking a Senior Art Director to join their talented team. In this role, you will develop and visualize creative concepts across multiple campaigns, formats, and channels. You'll translate strategic campaign ideas into a wide range of individual assets while maintaining consistency and creative quality throughout.

Your day-to-day work will include tailoring creative output to meet the specific requirements of different media, audiences, and stakeholders. You'll collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, designers, and other creative disciplines to develop integrated solutions. A key part of this position involves presenting and defending creative ideas confidently to both internal teams and external stakeholders, while taking full creative ownership of projects from initial concept through to final execution.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as an Art Director in an advertising agency or comparable creative environment
• A strong portfolio demonstrating distinctive visual work and creative excellence
• Strong conceptual thinking and a confident understanding of visual storytelling
• Solid understanding of different media, formats, and their specific creative requirements
• Proven ability to balance creative ambition with the needs of different stakeholders
• Experience with B2B or retail clients is a plus
• A collaborative mindset with confidence in presenting ideas and openness to feedback
• Fluency in both German and English, with the ability to work across both languages
• Comfort working across employer branding, classic campaigns, internal communications, and PR-focused creative projects
