Sales Development Representative – Staffing/Direct Placement Industry

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential staffing organization with a focus on direct placement services. We are searching for a skilled Sales Development Representative to join their remote team and drive new business development through strategic outbound prospecting.

This is a full-time independent contractor position based in the Philippines, working with clients primarily in US-based markets across SaaS, technology, and professional services sectors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 80–100 outbound calls daily to prospective clients in target industries
• Generate new opportunities through multi-channel outreach including cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn prospecting
• Identify and qualify decision-makers within target companies
• Schedule 5–7 qualified appointments per week for the sales team
• Manage all prospect interactions and maintain detailed records within HubSpot CRM
• Execute email sequences and strategic follow-up campaigns
• Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator and prospecting platforms to identify new leads
• Navigate conversations with gatekeepers and confidently handle objections
• Collaborate with leadership to refine outbound sales processes and optimize conversion rates
• Track daily activity metrics and consistently meet performance KPIs

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years of SDR or BDR experience within the staffing industry, specifically focused on US-based markets
• Direct experience with direct placement staffing sales (not third-party recruiting)
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding appointment-setting and activity KPI targets
• Strong cold calling skills with demonstrated ability to handle high-volume outreach
• Hands-on experience using HubSpot CRM for pipeline management
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for lead generation
• Experience using Apollo or similar prospecting platforms
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Confident ability to handle objections and navigate gatekeepers professionally
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
