We're seeking a high-energy Sales Development Representative to join their remote team and drive new business development. This is a full-time independent contractor position based in Sri Lanka, ideal for a disciplined self-starter who thrives in fast-paced sales environments.

You'll work directly as a core team member with our client, gaining real ownership and long-term career development opportunities. This role offers the chance to be the first point of contact for potential clients and build a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-volume outbound cold calling campaigns daily to engage B2B prospects
• Research and identify key decision-makers within target accounts to build a strong sales pipeline
• Qualify leads through thorough discovery conversations to ensure strong product-market fit
• Maintain meticulous CRM records tracking all activity, lead status, and follow-up tasks
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities with seamless handoffs
• Meet and exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of Sales Development Representative experience in B2B environments
• Proven track record in sales development or telemarketing roles
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to build rapport quickly
• Experience managing high call volumes with persistence to overcome objections
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management in remote settings
• Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quotas
• Proficiency with CRM tools and sales productivity software
• Experience selling SaaS or professional services (preferred)
• Familiarity with sales engagement platforms such as Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo (preferred)
• Previous success working in fully remote team environments (preferred)
