About This Position
Link-Belt Cranes, a global leader in mobile crane design, manufacture, and sales, is based in Lexington, Kentucky. We're looking for a motivated Safety Co-Op to support our safety and operations teams on a part-time basis. You'll contribute to our commitment to workplace safety and occupational health while gaining hands-on experience in industrial safety practices.
Your Responsibilities
- Partner with the safety department to support the development and execution of workplace safety programs
- Participate in facility safety inspections and help identify potential hazards
- Assist with monitoring compliance to OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Help document and organize safety records and training materials
- Support incident reporting and investigation processes
- Contribute to safety awareness initiatives and training activities
What You Bring
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental health, or related discipline
- Genuine interest in workplace safety and accident prevention
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented mindset and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Basic computer literacy and comfort learning new software systems
